JTC, SKF express concern over failure of Govt | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Nov 13: A joint meeting was organized and held by Jagti Tenement Committee (JTC) and Soan Kashmir Front (SKF) J&K headed by Shadi Lal Pandita, President and expressed concern over the failure of the Government in mitigating the sufferings of the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community which is living in exile for past more than 29 years. Addressing gathering, JTC President said that though the government had made a commitment for ensuring return and rehabilitation of Kashmiri Pandit Migrant Community in Kashmir valley by bringing up satellite townships in Kashmir valley but nothing has been done in this direction till date. During meeting they put forward following demands included Grant of compensation (one time) in respect of property losses suffered by the community during past 29 years due to damages to their properties in valley, Implementation of Prime Ministers employment package in letter and spirit by filling the remaining posts under this package, Ensuring issuance of orders in favour of the selected incumbents under PM employment package, Construction of additional 6000 flats for the Kashmiri migrant employees in different districts of Kashmir province, Removal of encroachments of Kashmiri Pandit properties as well as properties of religious temples, shrines in Kashmir valley and others. They appealed the government for immediate fulfilling of the genuine demands of this community. Others who accompanied include PL Thusoo, Raj Kumar Tickoo, Sunil Koul, Kashi Nath Bhat, Mithan Pandita, Raj Kumar Bhat, M.L. Amia, R.K. Raina, O.N. Raina, C.L. Pandita, Satish Kumar Pandita, C.L.
