Think before you vote again: Munish to people
7/2/2019 11:55:49 PM
Early Times Report
Jammu, July 2: Editor Early Times, Munish Gupta, on Tuesday urged people to evaluate the performances of the former MLAs and then cast their votes in the forthcoming Assembly elections in the state.
Carrying forward his mass contact programme in different areas, Munish said, "The areas which I have visited during the past one month are in a mess. The residents have been left to fend for themselves. Most of these areas have no basic facilities."
"It's unfortunate that after winning the elections the elected representatives vanish in thin air. They appear only when election season returns," said Munish, who would be contesting the forthcoming Assembly elections as an Independent candidate from Gandhi Nagar constituency.
"Elections are drawing closer and the politicians, who had vanished during the past five years have started reappearing on the scene. They have once again started making tall promises to lure us again," he added.
Munish said, "At present ball is in our court and we have to see whether we can trust them or not. If we get carried away once again it will provide these politicians a chance to rule us for the next five years. My earnest appeal to all my people is to evaluate the performances of the former MLAs and then cast their votes."
