Sumit Sharma JAMMU/KATHUA, Oct 22: Believe it or not but Police officers on the express directions of Member Parliament (MP) Choudhary Lal Singh forced under training constables of Jammu and Kashmir Police to sweep and clean the Sports Stadium at Kathua where a wrestling match was scheduled to be held. Sources said that fresh recruits were appalled at the treatment meted out to them but could not say a word since strict instructions had been issued to them not to violate express orders of the MP. They were forced to clean the Sports Stadium at Kathua to set the stage for prestigious competition 'Mission Dosti- the International bout tournament' on Monday at 2 pm. Sources said, the act of Kathua police, though have pleased the concerned Congress MP on whose directions this arrangement was made, but the incident left resentment brewing among many senior police officers who termed the act as disgrace and humiliating to khakhi.
