Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad who was away in Saudi Arabia performing Umrah will be returning to Delhi Sunday morning and will reach Jammu in the evening, official sources said.
Azad had left for Saudi Arabia on October 29 to perform Umrah and therefore this year no celebrations were scheduled on completion of his two years in office.
Monday morning, on the eve of reopening of civil secretariat in the winter capital, Azad will inspect the customary guard of honour before the functioning in the civil secretariat formally begins.

Six persons, including two Hizbul Mujahideen militants and a girl, were killed in separate incidents in Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
Based on specific information about presence of militants, security forces launched a search operation at Nihal-Pattan village on Srinagar-Baramulla highway last night.
When the militants fired on the troops, the security men retaliated and in the ensuing gun battle, the two militants were killed, they said.
A search was conducted in the morning and body of a girl was also recovered from the spot. Earlier reports had said that three militants were killed in the incident.

The Civil Secretariat and other related offices of the State government, under the biannual Darbar Move practice, will be opened here from Monday.
The Civil Secretariat and other government offices had closed on October 26 at the summer capital, Srinagar. Nearly 10,000 government officials, including top bureaucrats and employees, will reach here for the next six months.
Security arrangements at the secretariat and the surrounding areas have been beefed up and section 144 imposed, police said, adding vehicular traffic have been diverted to other routes.

The Jammu and Kashmir government has ordered a magisterial probe of the case in which a Pakistani national had managed to secure government jobs to four of his family members in bordering district of Rajouri.
Additional Commissioner Sudershan Sharma commenced the probe ordered by the Jammu and Kashmir home department yesterday and has been asked to submit a report to the government within one month, official sources said.
