| Governor calls for all required measures being taken for promotion of tourism | | | | Early Times Report
SRINAGAR, June 19: A delegation of the Federation of Associations of Tour Operators of Jammu called on Mr. N. N. Vohra, Governor, at Raj Bhavan, here today and handed over a Maruti Omni Ambulance to the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board.
Interacting with the delegation, the Governor, who is Chairman of the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board, lauded the gesture of the Federation for providing Ambulance to the Shrine Board. He asked Mr. Navin K. Choudhary, his Principal Secretary and Chief Executive Officer of the Shrine Board, to see how this Ambulance could be best utilized for the transportation of pilgrims who may fall sick or be involved in accidents.
The Governor enquired from the delegation about their activities vis-à-vis promotion of tourism, adding that the Government agencies, travel trade and all other stakeholders have to act
