8 cr new jobs in last 3 to 4 years: PM Modi | | | MUMBAI, July 13: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday said that as per a report by the RBI, eight crore new jobs were made available in the country in the last three to four years.
Modi was speaking at an event in Mumbai’s Goregaon suburb after launching and laying the foundation stone for Rs 29,000 crore projects in road, railway and port sectors in the city.

JAMMU, July 13: Two persons were killed and 25 injured when a bus skidded off the road and plunged into a 200-feet-deep gorge in hilly Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday, officials said.
The accident took place near Bhatyas at around 10.25 am when the private mini bus was on its way to Thathri from Bhalessa, the officials said.
They said one woman was found dead by the rescuers on the spot, while another succumbed to her injuries at a hospital.
The nine other injured person, whose condition was stated to be serious, are being treated at the Government Medical College in Doda, the officials said.

JAMMU, July 13: A fresh batch of 4,669 pilgrims, including 96 sadhus and two sadhvis, left Jammu city to join the pilgrimage to the cave shrine of Amarnath in the south Kashmir Himalayas early Saturday, officials said.
They will leave for the shrine, at a height of 3,880 metre, after reaching the two base camps of the yatra — Baltal and Pahalgam.
The 16th batch of pilgrims, which also included 1,130 women and 23 children, left Bhagwati Nagar base camp here in a convoy of 183 vehicles between 3 am and 4 am under tight security arrangements, the officials said.

Poonch, July 13: A woman and her minor son were killed and several others injured after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident on Mughal Road on Friday.
Official sources said that a Bolero vehicle (JK02DJ-5386 ) fell into a gorge near Panar area, resulting in injuries to eight people, all residents of Dharhal Rajouri.
