•Hurriyat leader Sheikh Aziz not killed in Police firing
•Situation in both regions will be normal in next 10 days
Why New Delhi allowed Jammu to burn for two months and Kashmir to raise embarrassing slogans could be gauged from the assessment of situation made by the National Security Advisor MK Narayanan who apparently feels that tension is just a hoax and the situation is quite less serious than being seen.
Interestingly, Narayanan is the man New Delhi depends heavily on its policy decisions particularly in sensitive cases like Jammu and Kashmir. The only justice he seems to have done ... | |

Jammu | Aug 30
After two months of historical agitation that threw the routine life completely out of gear, the normal course of politics is keenly waiting to bounce back once the agitation is formally called off.
