Jammu, Sept 8: A large number of SRTC employees, in topless, on saturday staged a protest march against continued apathy of the state government towards the hapless and poor employees of the corporation.
Shouting anti-government slogans the protestors, baring their chest marched from Bikram chowk blocking traffic on the busy Tawi bridge over for one hour.

Jammu|Sep 8: The state government today effected a minor reshuffle in the administration with transfers and postings of over two dozen officers. Barring conferment of full-fledged charge of the Commissioner of inquiries to an IAS officer, all transfers have been made at the middle and lower rung of administration.

Jammu|Sep 8: Top officials of BSF and Pakistani Rangers today began three-day talks in Lahore to address issues of cross-border drug smuggling and repatriation of prisoners.
In the highest-level contact between the border forces, the two sides will also discuss repair of pillars along the International Border.
Before crossing over to Pakistan for the talks, BSF Additional Director General G S Gill said the meeting aims at creating better understanding between the border guarding force of the two countries.
