| BJP leaders express grief over demise of Khajuria’s father | | | Jammu, Dec 8: State BJP leaders Saturday expressed grief and anguish over the sad demise of Prakashnand Khajuria, father of MLA Ashok Khajuria. In a statement BJP State President Shamsher Singh Manhas, Seh-Prabhari, R P Singh and other senior leaders while praying for the peace to the departed soul hoped that the bereaved family will be able to bear the loss with the grace of God. They said that the departed soul was a man of great head and heart and had by his conduct and guidance inspired Ashok Khajuria and his other siblings to lead a life of social and public service. "The greatness of Parkashnand Khajuria is indicated by the sterling qualities of Ashok Khajuria and his other family members. They said that we all are with the bereaved family in this hour of great loss and tragedy," they said.
"Due to polls in Gujrat, the BJP National President Nitin Gadkari and other national leaders sent the condolence to the bereaved family through Sardar R.P. Singh, who visited the residence of Ashok Khajuria to convey the same and later attended the last rites at Jammu," the statement added. |
