The visitors finished the three-day game on the second day after they bowled out J&K for 167 runs in 55.3 overs in their second innings. However, J&K skipper, Shubam Singh played like true leader and excelled in both batting and bowling front. This upcoming cricketer not only completed his half century but also took five wickets to fight the lone battle against mighty Himachal. Likewise first innings, batting at 147 for five, J&K lost the remaining five wickets for just 20 runs. To make meek surrender, four batsmen lost their wickets without opening the accounts. Opener, Abhishek Bakshi and Shubam Singh, however, completed their half centuries contributing 52 and 55 runs respectively. Momeen Mansoor played a pinching knock of 33 runs, including a pull over the fence. Earlier, Himachal made 387 runs in their first innings. Resuming their innings from overnight score of 318 for five, the visitors could add only 69 runs to lose the rest of the side.
