| J&K Bank DLRC meet hold in Budgam | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Srinagar, Dec 8 : Additional District Development Commissioner, Budgam Mohammad Akbar Ganai chaired J&K Bank 42nd DLRC Meeting of District Budgam today.
In his address, Ganai directed all the Line Departments and Banks to ensure achievement of 100% targets under each sector and ensure the disbursement of all the Cases expeditiously and assured the Banks about the realization of Margin Money/Interest Subsidy and Capital Subsidy pending with the sponsoring agencies, so that Banks are in a position to disburse all pending cases by the end of December 2012-2013. He appreciated the role of Banks particularly J&K Bank for assisting the eligible beneficiaries for their upliftment and overall economic growth of the District.
The Lead District Manager Budgam, Mohammad Yaqoob briefed the House about the achievements till Quarter ending Sept. 2012 with respect to the targets fixed for the financial year under District Credit Plan 2012-2013.He informed the House that Banks in the District have disbursed an amount of Rs.120.59 Crores out of the target of Rs.237.87 Crores out of which Rs.73.56 crores have been disbursed under priority sector. The disbursement under various Govt. Sponsored Schemes as on Sept. 2012 was Rs.41.29 Crores.
He further apprised the House that in Budgam District achievement in Kissan Credit Card is 61%.
"Out of 15363 Eligible Applications sponsored by the Agriculture/Horticulture Department, 9436 applications have been sanctioned with disbursement of Rs.33.19 Crores", he revealed.
The meeting, apart from representatives of various banks and Heads of Line Departments of the District, was attended by Ved Prakash from Reserve Bank of India and Abdul Hamid Khan, J&K Bank's Cluster Head for Budgam The meeting ended with the vote of thanks by Farooq Ahmad Yaswi, Joint Director Planning |
