EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 15 : Ahead of the 12-day Maha Yagya at Sohajana village here, Minister for Revenue Raman Bhalla today reviewed the arrangements made by the district administration and said several initiatives had been taken to develop the pilgrimage centre into a tourist hotspot. The Gaudaan and Kundiya Maha Yagya, to be held at the Shri Diwarakanath Shastri Paviter Samadhi Sthal at Sohajana of Marh, from December 25 to January 5 would see about five lakh devotees thronging the village from across the country. The Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, in an interaction with pilgrims, said that a number of initiatives had been taken by the state government to enhance tourism potential of the pilgrimage centre. |
