JAMMU, Dec 15: Women boxers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police excelled at the national level winning four medals, including a silver in the recently held 61st All India Police Games hosted by CRPF at IG Stadium, New Delhi. On their return, the medal winners called on the Additional Director General of Police, Armed, Law and Order, K Rajendra and other senior officers, who complimented the team and their coach, Inspector Satyakam Sharma for the performance. Earlier, the women medal winners were also congratulated by the Director General of J&K Police, Ashok Prasad for their consistent performance in the Police Games. The ADGP felicitated the medal winners, Asha Jamwal (silver), Khalida Bano, Shehnaz Akhter and Rajni Kumari (all bronze). Among other senior officers present during felicitation were DIG Armed Police, Jammu, T Punchuk, DIG IR Jammu, Johnny William and DIG Jammu-Kathua range, JP Singh.
