| PAWC demands effective steps to check kerosene oil black marketing | | |  Early Times Report
Kathua, Dec 15: The People's Action Welfare Committee warned the district administration to take strict and strong steps to control the black-marketing of the kerosene oil before the December 30 and to keep the kerosene oil depot in the reach of the people so that people can get their share or face the wrath of common man on street.
The kerosene oil crisis is looming large over district Kathua due to selling of kerosene oil by the dealers in black market due to which real consumers were being harassed said People's Welfare Action Committee president Gyan Singh Pathania and youth leader Sanjeev Verma.
They demanded that district administration should launch a drive in the town and its adjoining areas to check black-marketing of kerosene oil .
The state had already demanded an additional supply of kerosene oil from the oil companies after the Central government expressed its inability to treat J&K as a special category region. But at ground level it is seen that most of the kerosene oil dealers openly doing the practice of black-marketing and the people of the district in far flung areas were badly affected with the black marketing of kerosene oil. |
