JAMMU, Dec 16 : A new body for Bhagat Mahasabha, Ramgarh was elected today in a tehsil level meeting of the organization at Ramgarh. In the meeting, a large number of prominent members of Megh Samaj from far flung areas were present. Ram Singh Bhagat was elected as Chairman while Sarpanch Bharat Bhush an Bhagat was chosen as President. Karan Bhagat was elected as Sr. Vice-President while Sansar Chand Bhagat, Shashi Bhagat, Daleep Bhagat, Jimmy Bhagat and Narain Bhagat were elected as Vice President, General Secretary, Organizing Secretary, Joint Secretary and Treasurer respectively.
Besides this, 21 executive members were elected from different villages of Vijaypur block to spread progr ammes and policies of the organization among Megh samaj. Speakers impressed upon masses to inculcate the spiritual and moral values in the tender minds of kids, school going children and adults in order to free the society from evils like drug addiction, smoking, liqour consumption etc.
It is also decided that series of meetings will be held in several villages to motivate people to participate in Nirvan Divas of Sadguru Kabir Sahib on February 3 at Bishnah. |
