| Kathua, Dec 16 : Government Degree College, Kathua is organizing two day's National Seminar on 'Higher Education in J&K : Challenges and Perspectives' in collaboration with Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), North - Western Regional Centre, Panjab University, Chandigarh on December, 22nd and 23rd. About 77 abstracts have been received from various faculty members, research scholars and students across the country and more than 30 papers will be presented in various technical sessions of the Seminar. The various resource persons, distinguished educationists, Economists, Sociologists from J.N.U., New Delhi, NCERT , New Delhi, Kurukshtera University, Punjab University Chandigarh, GNDU, Amritsar and University of Jammu are participating in the Seminar. The Seminar will be inaugurated by Abdul Gani Malik, Minister for Higher Education and Ch. Lal Singh, M.P. will be the guest of honour on December 22. |
