| KATHUA, Dec 16: A four days free eye screening and surgical camp organized by KLSM Rotary Eye & ENT Hospital Udhampur, Rotary Club Udhampur and Sewa II Power Station NHPC Limited concluded at Bani. The camp was inaugurated by MLA Bani Master Lal Chand in presence of Chief Engineer P. K. Langer, BMO Bani Rajender Kumar, Dy. CMO Dr Pulak Taraphdar, Dr Pawan Kumar, Rtn. D. N. Sharma Chairman Rotary Eye Foundation, Rtn V. S. Raja Sr Vice Chairman and Dr. Manoj Kumar Yadav. This was the first camp organized in the remotest area of Kathua Distt where IOL implanted to blind and semi blind poor people at Sub Distt. Hospital Bani. The general public of the area appreciated the work done by Sewa II Power Station, NHPC Limited and Rotary Eye Hospital Udhampur. In the camp 303 patients were examined and out of which 58 patients were operated with IOL at Sub Distt. Hospital Bani. Rtn D. N. Sharma Chairman Rotary Eye Hospital Udhampur extended heartfelt thanks to Chief Engineer NHPC Ltd. P. K.
