EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Dec 16 : Newly floated Association of Education Consultants, Jammu & Kashmir, in first meeting held on Sunday, elected Narottam Sharma as its State President and Vivek Sharma as its Vice-President. Narottam Sharma, while expressing gratitude to the Association for bestowing an important responsibility on his shoulders, said that there has been repeated complaints in Jammu that a number of private educational institutes, including technical and professional ones, have been coming to city of temples to attract the students for their institutions on false claims and high standards of their respective institutions but majority of them are found to be cheaters. Such incidents have invited widespread resentment and anger from the parents of the students who get lured by the false claims. Narottam Sharma said that our motive is to bring awareness among the parents and students by providing them accurate information about the institutes running in different parts of the country. He said that the parents should get admissions of their students t through our Jammu-based consultants to avoid any mischief. Prominent among those who were present in the meeting included Association General Secretary Sanjay Lamba, Treasurer Suresh Kumar, Ashish Shukla, Ashfaq Ahmed, Parvez Khan and Ishaque Khan. |
