| Jodhamal Public School celebrates Annual Day | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Dec 16 : Jodhamal Public School celebrated its 8th annual day "Kaleidoscope of Colours" in its flourishing school campus. Justice Muzaffar Jan (Retd) and JJ Kotwal (Director KNIT) were the Guests of Honour. Also present were. Rajesh Puri (Commissioner Central Excise & Customs), Sirinivasan (IGP) and Farooq Khan (IGP). Vikrant Kuthiala, Nandan Kuthiala (Trustee), Principal Trilok Singh Bist and Vice-Principal Rohini Aima and Aarti Kuthiala, the promoter of the school were present on the occasion. The students put up a spectacular show for the guests and parents. The Kaleidoscope of Colours was kicked off by the unfurling of the school flag and the singing of the National Song Vande Mataram. This was followed by a relay of the Torch carried by Jodhamal Public School's outstanding athletes. The school's March Past contingents comprising of girls and boys hailed the Chief Guest in a wonderful display of rhythm and coordination. The marching band so graciously provided by Col. Deepak Mohan CO of 9 Rajput was led by Band Havildar Uday Kumar. The Ganesn Vandana performed by girls of Class VIII / IX started the cultural activities followed by a demonstration by the school orchestra under the aegis of the able Music Department of the school. Class I children came up next with a wonderful parody of Cricket and the students of Class II and III enthralled the audience with sweet gyrations to the music. Class IV left the audience spellbound with its martial art demonstration, but the star attraction was the Gangnam style dance by Class IX boys which made the audience c1amour for more. |
