JAMMU, Dec 17: Expressing concern over the miseries of common people due to agitation of the state government employees, the Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) today said the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah only holds the key to solve the long-pending issues of the employees. "The chief minister only holds the key to solve the grave issues of the agitating state government employees and ending the fresh spell of agitation which has often led the common people into grave trouble," party's president Darakhshan Andrabi told reporters here. She said that the state government employees have been fighting for their demands, including enhancement of retirement age and removal of pay anomalies of all cadres, for the last more than three years now. However, she said, many spells of agitations and negotiations with the government have not yielded any results at all.
