| NYC holds protest against Govt | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Rajouri, Dec 17 : National Youth Crops (NYC) of the border district Rajouri gathered at Children Park Rajouri and hold massive protest demonstration against State govt for their pending demands.
State General Secretary and District President, Yasar Arafat said today NYC of J&K is under psychological pressure and suffering from mental harassment for this state government.
Yasar Arafat, further said that the government has turned blind eye to the problems faced by corps for their demands including their regularization, conversion of monthly honorarium into monthly salary and continuation of their duty in the same department where they have rendered two years of service.
He added that if their demands are not redressed, they would launch chain hunger strike and divisional level protest. A large number of National Youth Corps activists from different blocks of district Rajouri are present. Those who spoke on this occasion were Jagir Rashid and Sangeeta Thukar. |
