| 'Keep transfer orders issued by outgoing DSE-J on hold' | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Dec 17: Young Panthers today urged upon the government to keep all those transfer orders of teachers, Masters, Lecturers and Head Masters in abeyance which were issued by the outgoing Director School Education, Jammu after the issuance of his own transfer order to Industries Department. Addressing a press conference here today, Pushvi-nder Manhas, Sr. Vice President Young Panthers and Pavan Dev Singh, Provincial Secretary Young Panthers alleged that hundreds of back dated transfer orders were issued by the said director after his own transfer in violations of norms and in contravention of the transfer policy. They said that transfer orders were issued in wholesale on extraneous considerations creating lot of resentment amongst the teaching community as well as the general public. Seeking cancellation of all such transfer orders, the NPP leaders said that it was highly unethical on part of the outgoing Director to have resorted to such an abhorable practice. They said that earlier also there were large scale complaints of irregular and arbitrary transfers having been issued by Directorate of School Education but the recent episode was the most reprehensible act on the part of the said officer. They warned to hold protests, demonstrations and agitate the matter at various foras if the said orders were not rescinded at the earliest.
