| One year RI, fine to accused | | Molestation case | | early times report
Jammu, Dec 17 (JNF): Judi-cial Magistrate Reasi Arch-ana Charak awarded one year rigorous imprisonment and fine Rs 2000/- to accused Nazir Ahmed S/o Khair Din R/o Balwa-ntkot tehsil Mahore who was facing trial for committing offence u/s 354 RPC for the last eight years.
According to the police case that on June 12, 2004 complainant lodged a complaint that his goat was missing and during search she heard noise of the goat at some dehra, when she reached near house, she saw that Nazir Ahmed tied his goat inside his house.
Complainant asked him to return his goat, accused asked her to come inside and take her goat, she refused and accused forcibly took the complainant, police registered a case u/s 354 RPC and after completion of investigation challan was presented in the Court of law. Court after hearing both the sides awarded one year RI and fine Rs 2000/- to Nazir Ahmed.
Meanwhile Judicial Mag-istrate Reasi Archana Charak has also awarded one year imprisonment to Satish Kumar S/o Mansa Ram R/o Khardi who was also facing trial for last more than seven years u/s 354 RPC. JNF
