| Benefit of Centrally sponsored schemes not reaching to needy: AYC | | | Early Times Report
Rajouri, Dec 21: One day convention was held by Assembly Youth Congress Kalakote outside the premises of Govt Degree College Rajouri in which members highlighted that benefit of the different centrally sponsored schemes don't reach to needy and poor. A large number of youth and students from Kalakote constituency even students from Degree College Rajouri also participated in the convention. Er Wasim Kohli president AYC Kalakote while speaking on this occasion said that benefit of various centre schemes like MNREGA and mid day meal are not reaching to the common and down trodden people. He further alleged the poor and deserving people do not get the ration supplied to the various Anganwadi centers. Er Kohli stressed upon the students to come forward with their grievances regarding the procurement of PRC/ ration cards ST/SC/OBC certificates. He further said that their grievances will be pleaded with the concerned authorities for the speedy redressal. President AYC Kalakote emphasized upon the need to strengthen the Indian Youth Congress (IYC) and fulfill the dreams of Rahul Gandhi General Secretary INC and other senior cadres. Speakers also raised the issue that transporters are charging full passenger fare from the students rather them giving concession.
