| Rs 32000 stolen from car near traffic police booth | | |
Jammu: Some unidentified burglars broke open window of the car parked just by the traffic police booth and fled with Rs 32000 cash amount, sources said. As per sources the incident took place near J&K Bank Satwari when the complainant mentioned that when he went to J&K Bank Ltd Satwari for depositing electricity bills at 10.50am today after parking his car (JKO2AC0951) Swift VXI outside bank on national highway a busy place. "To his surprise when he came out, he found that window of front door (driver side) of car was broken and a pouch carrying vehicle documents and cash amounting to Rs32000 were stolen from the car, complainant said. Pertinent to mention the road besides J&K Bank always remains alive with traffic but burglar even then dared to do so, he lamented.
Gandhi Nagar police has registered a case in this connection and is investigating the matter .
