Kathua, Dec 21: Former Vice Chairman Municipal Committee Kathua and Congress activist Nirdosh Sharma today said that their protest would continue till the government fulfil demands of people of Kathua. The protest of the people entered third day. The people are demanding action against black marketing of bricks by the brick kiln owners, special police recruitment drive in their area, providing seeds and fertilizers timely, execution of the work of UIDSSMT, construction of a building for Kendriya Vidyalaya School, establishment of indoor stadium, creation of Billawar District and to make ISBT functional at Kalibari. "More than 11 thousands people of the Kathua have given their consent and verdict by leaving their signatures on the memorandum which is yet to be submitted through PCC President Prof Saif-u-din Soz to AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi," Sharma said in a statement. He blamed the district administration Kathua for failing to sort out the problems of black marketing of bricks in the area. |
