Kundan Kashmiri condemns Rehman Malik's statement

Jammu, Dec 21: KPC chief Kundan Kashmiri has condemned Pakistan interior minister Rehman Malik's recent statement that Pakistan establishment was not responsible for 26/11 attacks and provocative statement over demolition of Babri Masjid.
While addressing party activists and supporters in New Delhi on Thursday Kundan said, "Such statement speaks volumes about malicious designs, insincerity and selfishness of Pakistan rulers which should be an opener for the Indian leaders running the polity of the nation.
He also questioned state and central governments over ignoring the culprits and criminals responsible for killing of hundreds of innocent Kashmiri Pandits during turmoil in the Valley.
The KPC chief also criticized state and central governments for organizing Hurriyat leader's Pakistan tour. "Facilitating such nature of visits for Hurriyat leaders to Pakistan will have dangerous consequences and negative fall out on national integration and peace of the J&K state," he warned.
Expressing the concerned over gradual damaged of heritage and rich culture of J&K, Kundan Kashmiri demanded that comprehensive heritage preservation policy for the state and "taking all required steps for documentation and showcasing of Kashmir Shivism world wide."
He demanded that committee of historians and other experts on Kashmir Shivism, besides other aspects of rich composite cultural heritage of J&K state be set-up for drawing up an action plan for time bound documentation, restoration and showcasing of historical monuments, heritage sites and place of spiritual importance.
The KPC leader also demanded that dialogue with Pakistan to be initiated to facilitate visit of Hindus to Sharda Peeth in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK), besides, temples and other Hindus religious institution in POK, Pakistan to be preserved and promoted at the earliest and to keep them open for the visit of Hindus of Indian nation and others.
Other important KPC leaders who spoke on the same lines were senior vice president M L Raina, KPC adviser Dr M L Fotedar, General Secretary KPC Dr H L Saraf, Organising Secretary Sushil Bhat, Secretary KPC, R L Raina, KPC youth leaders Surender Bhat and V K Kaul.
