Jammu, Dec 28: Opposition people’s Democratic Party (PDP) leaders Vikram Singh along with Girish Sharma, Pankaj Gupta, Sachin Sharma, Chaman Angral, Sonu Saini, Vinod, Brij Mehra, Bittu Pradhan, Rajat Gupta, Shoukat Gujjar met Deputy Commissioner Jammu and aspired him of problems being faced by residents of the city.
"One of the major problem faced by the people of Jammu is that they are not able to get their State Subject well in time as reported by the locals that the officers are demanding voter list before 1947 which is a rear case as before that voter list of 1951 and so far is valid with the record of their family," the delegation told the DC. Another major problem faced by residents of old city is that maximum of the houses belong to custodian and need repair, renovation. A lot of applications have been filed in the Custodian office but without any response," they added. |
