JAMMU, Dec 28: Panun Kashmir today held a demonstration here in commemoration of Homeland Day, demanding the carving out of a "homeland" for displaced Kashmiri Pandits. Led by president Ashwani Kumar Chrungoo, over 150 activists held a protest demonstration near Press Club. On this day, in 1991, the Homeland Resolution was passed by a three-day Convention of Panun Kashmir at Jammu demanding a separate homeland for Kashmiri Hindus in the valley.
