Kathua, Dec 28: Youth Movement has strongly criticized the use of force by police on the protest of Rehabr-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers in Jammu who were demanding redressal of their long pending demands. "The brutal attack on the people who were raising their voice for justice, is attack on democratic values and rights of the people. It makes the mockery of so called largest democracy in the world," president of the Movement, Sanjeev Verma, said in a statement. "It is the duty of state government to address the problems of ReT teachers, ReZ agriculture technocrats, daily wagers, casual labourers who are working with full dedication in their concerned departments on just Rs 3000 to Rs 4500 per month as salary that makes their survival very tuff and full of difficulties in the time of sky hike inflation," he added. The Youth Movement urged the government to come forward with human approach towards these suffering people. |
