| Inculcate high spiritualvalues, Madan Lal to Youths | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Jan 12 : Paying glorious tributes to great Karamyogi and Saint, Swami Vivekanand Ji Maharaj,the Chief Guest and the Member Parliament, Madan Lal Sharma said that he enlightened the whole world with his high values and spirituality.
The Chief Guest was addressing a huge gathering at a function held at Ambedkier Mohala, Ploura Top in Jammu organised to commemorate the 150thbirth anniversary of the great religious saint Swami Vivekanand Ji coinciding with the celebration of the festival of Lohri.
Sharma asked youth to follow the foot prints of the great Swami Ji Maharaj.
Sharma stressed upon the people of the State particularly to youth to unitedly stand for National integration and communal harmony. He said that NC-Congress coalition Government is totally committed for the development of all the three regions of the State and in this direction a number of steps have already been taken by the present Government.
Listing the achievements of the present Coalition Government, the MP told that the State and Central Governments have launched a number of welfare schemes and added that central Government is funding liberally to the State of Jammu and Kashmir considering its topography and backwardness. He said presently hundreds of developmental projects including road connectivity, providing of portable drinking water facilities, availability of health care education at the door steps of all the sections of the people particularly who live in remote and far flung areas.
Sharma asked the people choose right person at the time of elections and strength the democracy at the grass root level and show the door to those who have not even visited to your area. |
