| Fire breaks out in house, 6 critically injured | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT BHADERWAH, Jan 12: In a midnight fire incident at Iqbal colony, Bhaderwah, six members of a family received serious burn injuries. According to police, the fire broke out inside the residence of Irshad Hussain Tak son of Ghulam Nabi Tak as a result of which, the brother of Irshad Hussain, his wife and his three children received serious burn injures including the owner of the house. The police said that the fire broke out during midnight of 11/12 January as a result of which the family members fail to come out of the burning house which resulted in burn injuries to all the six people residing inside the said house. As soon as the news of the fire incident spread, Bhaderwah police, administration and fire tenders, beside large number of people rushed to the spot and started rescue and relief operation. The police officials said that before the rescue team could do anything, the fire engulfed the entire house. The officials further added that it was due to hard efforts of the rescue team that all the family members were evicted from the burning house and later shifted to nearby hospital from where all the six injured were shifted to Jammu. Keeping in view the serious burn injuries, Ghulam Rasool Tak was shifted to Chandigarh Hospital for treatment. The cause of the fire is said to be the gas furnace. Police has registered a case and started its investigation. The other injured persons were identified as Ukhraja Begum Wife of Irshad Hussain Tak, Monina Irshad Tak daughter of Irshad Hussain Tak, Sana Irshad Tak daughter of Irshad Hussain Tak and Shazad Irshad Tak son of Irshad Hussain Tak. |
