Rajouri, Jan 14 : In between the escalation of border tension and demand from various quarters for confrontation, JK Youth For Change (JKYFC), apolitical organisation, has rejected confrontation and recommended talks in peaceful manner for de escalation on the LoC.
The organization claimed that neither Islamabad nor New Delhi were aware about the ground suffering of the people of border areas who are ultimate sufferer of this tension and "people of border regions never want confrontation."
Talking to media persons at Rajour, JK Youth for Change activists Advocate Tazeem Dar and Zubair Mirza said it was unfortunate that some people were demanding direct action plan with Pakistan. "But these people are not aware about the realities and sufferings of the people living on border areas from Uri Karnah, Baramulla, Kupwara to Rajouri Poonch, Akhnoor, RS Pura, Suchetgarh and Samba areas who never want to add more fire in the ensuing situation on the borders," he said.
He said although the incident of Mendher is unfortunate and inhuman and it
must be condemned with tooth and nail "people should forget that war is no solution and ultimate peace can pave way for any solution."
