EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Jan 14 : Mohalla Sudhar Committee (MSC) Gujjar Nagar, here today expressed concern over the civic issues of area and demanded immediately restoration of civic services in the area. As per press release, a meeting of MSC was held here under the chairmanship of its convener Abdul Qayoom Wani. Speaking on the occasion he said that the residents of Gujjar Nagar area were facing difficulties, as the civic body is not taking care of basic services in their locality. He demanded, "Dust Bins at suitable places, construction and repair of lanes drains, civil work inducing counting number residential houses and streets, maintenance of street lights and repair of main holes." He said that the increasing population of stray dogs has turned and great threat to resident so it is the duty of Municipal Corporation to deal with situation seriously. Wani further demaned, "Black toping of left over portion of circular road, deplorable road is being proven harmful for the locals. The meeting was attended by Amir-ud-din Kasana, Abdul Ganie, Javed Iqbal Butt (Lecturer), Mohd Sadiq Malik, Abdul Qayoom wani and Malik Sultan Arif including other residents of the area. |
