JAMMU, Jan 14: Jammu and Kashmir Badminton Association has decided to conduct selection trials to pick up probable for state team for the forthcoming Senior (Veteran) National Championship to be held at Mumbai in Maharashtra from February 19 to February 24. The three-day trials shall take place at Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium from January 16. The Association has advised those interested veteran shuttlers to submit their entries with Sat Pal Sharma or Balbir Singh Jamwal latest by January 15 for the trials purposes. The competition shall be held both in men and women categories of plus 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65 and plus 70. Indian veteran team for the 5th Senior World Badminton Championship, to be held in Turkey, shall be selected on the basis of performance in the forthcoming nationals. |
