| Nepal Army Chief, family visit Vaishno Devi shrine | | |

Jammu, Jan 14: Nepal Army Staff Chief General Gaurav Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana today paid obeisance at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi cave shrine situated in Trikuta Hills of mountainous Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. "Chief Of Army Staff, Nepal General Gaurav Shumsher Jung Bahadur Rana along with his family members this morning reached the Bhawan and paid obeisance at the shrine," police sources here said. They said the General offered special prayers at the shrine and left for Katra in the afternoon. "He reached Sanjhi Chhat helipad in Army's special chopper and due to inclement weather, returned to Katra town on foot," they added. Tight security arrangements were made during his visit. |
