| NMC demands filling of Accountants' posts | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Feb 1: Stressing upon the need for immediate filling of vacant posts of accountants lying with Finance Department, President of the National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) Subash Shastri today appealed the Chief Minister, Finance Minister and Principal Secretary Finance to direct the Director General Accounts & Treasuries to fulfill the vacant posts at the earliest which are lying with said Department since long time as about 200 Accounts Assistants have already qualified SAC Part -I Examination in September 2012 who deserve for promotions.
In a three separate memorandums sent to Omar Abdullah, A.R Rather & Iqbal Khanday , Shastri urged them to personally intervene in the matter to mitigate the problems being faced by the Account Assistants of the finance Department who have already cleared SAC Part-I Examination , adding that non filling of these vacant posts in the Finance Department in which the salaried class faced lot of problems.
Shastri pointed out that since September 2012 not a single order of Accounts personnel has been issued by the concerned Department.
He further demanded issuance of early promotions orders of Accounts Assistant so that they do not suffer any more. |
