| Engagement of 55 plumbers in Doda, Kishtwar | | Left out candidates demand engagement on need basis | | Asif iqbal naik
Kishtwar, Feb 1: In a brazen violation of order No PHEJ/GE/5806/2010 da-ted 17-7-2010, the PHE division Doda and Kisht-war engaged 55 candidates against 83 sanctioned posts and left out the other candidates to fend on their on.
The left out candidates have accused the PHE department of engaging blue eyed candidates. They said that in order to validate one year diploma certificate issued by the Kissan Institute of Technology R.S Pura Jammu, the department invited the candidates having diploma from the institute for practical test.
The alleged that department instead of conducting the practical test of all the candidates having diploma from the said institute conducted the interview of only 55 candidates and left out the others.
They said that Superin-tending Engineer (SE) Hydraulic Circle Doda wide his order No: SED/ H/2391 furnished the list of 58 candidates to be engaged as plumber and on the basis of SE Doda order, the department engaged 55 candidates as plumber in Doda and Kishtwar against the available posts of 83.
The left out candidates said that they have appro-ached the concerned for filling of left out posts wit-hout success. They said that department of PHE is already suffering from shortage of man power. They have sought intervention of PHE Minister Sham Lal Sharma to consider their demands. They have urged him to direct the concerned PHE officials to engage them as well. |
