Perverted separatists opposing Yatri, but silent on tourists

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Feb 1: The perverted mindset of separatists has once again started the perversion process of the opposing duration of Amarnath yatra. An outfit of Hurriyat Conference headed by hardliner Sayeed Ali Shah Geelani, who till now draws pension on account of being once a MLA, had said they will hold session to discuss the matter.
It said the action would be aggressive and offence.
Hurriyat, now just a organization at the fringe of the political landscape, is trying its best to rake up the issue of Amarnath yatra, to give it communal and regional colour, stoke up anti-India feeling. It's aiming to gain politically at cost of lives of ordinary Kashmir, if there is tension and stone-pelting and police had to respond.
It reflects the perverted mindset of the Hurriyat, whose leaders still travel on the Indian passport but dare to say that India is treating Kashmir as a colony and is State within the State.
The Hurriyat leaders have reflected such a myopic and pedestrian and parochial mindset in its opposition to the duration of the yatra. The fact that Shrine Board decided to allow 55-day yatra only on the observations and judgments by the Supreme Court, the apex court whose judgments are being treated with legal high mark across the word.
The Board had decided to further the period of the yatra as it faced lot of flak because of the deaths of the yatris last year. The Hurriyat leader, who claimed to be champion of human right, but speak only when a terrorist dies or some one dies in police action, didn't utter a word on the death of the yatris.
They are opposing the yatra on supposedly ecological concerns. However, the fact is that they have conveniently forgotten that about 13-lakh tourists that visited the Kashmir also pose a threat to the ecology.
If the separatist leaders are so true to Kashmir, then they should also issue a call that tourists have to be regulated, like the way it's done in Sikkim and Ladakh is also thinking on the same line.
But, they won't do it as they know ordinary Kashmiri will be then baying for their blood.
The separatists if they are so concerned should raise voice where thousands of crores of rupees on Dal cleansing have gone which is also a ecological concern. But they kept silent for years all together as they themselves are beneficiary of 'Indian Rupee."
Hurriyat leaders didn't respond to the call of the CM who had asked them to take a tour of the trek in helicopter. It was because they knew their bluff would be out and that's only thing- negativity and bluff- on which they thrive.
