Jammu , Feb 2: Two persons were run over by a train in separate incidents in Samba district of Jammu and Kashmir. "A man identified as Bahadur Singh, 44, resident of village Keso, Ramgarh, of Samba district died this morning when he was run over by Delhi-bound Jhelum Express while he was crossing the railway track," police sources said. He died on the spot while his body was handed over to the family members after post-mortem, officials added. In another incident, a man fell to death from a moving train at Vijaypur crossing in Samba district. "Identified as Mohammad Afaz, resident of district Rajouri, died last evening when he fell from the moving train near Vijaypur crossing," the police said. The deceased was heading towards Pathankote when he accidentally slipped from the train and died on the spot. |
