JAMMU, Feb 02: The 13-member team of the University of Jammu (JU) shall leave for participation in the All India Inter-University Fencing Competition tomorrow.
The competition is scheduled to be held at Punjabi University Patiala in Punjab from February four to February seven. Earlier, Director Sports and Physical Education, JU, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau wished the team success.
The team is accompanied by international fencer, Rashid Ahmed and Ajay Khatrol as coach and manager respectively. The Team: Sahib Gupta (PG, MCA), Maheshwar Sharma (New Modern College), Veer Sangram Singh (MAM College), Anupam (GDC Reasi), Mohd Tariq (MAM College), Dushyant Magotra (MIET College), Abhinav Pandotra (GDC Reasi), Satish Lani (MAM College), Sushant (GGM Science College), R Kumar (PG), Mohit Sharma ( GGM Science College), Monika Sharma. Women Team: Monika Sharma (GCW Parade).
