JAMMU, Feb 8 : Continuing with its "Yuva Jodo Abhiyaan", the National Panthers Students Union (NPSU), today held a meeting at Purkhoo, Jammu wherein youth and students were present. The meeting organized under the leadership of Rural President NPSU, Deepak Raj Panday was chaired by State President NPSU, Partap Singh Jamwal. Addressing the meeting, Partap Singh Jamwal lambasted the ruling coalition for, what he described as its total failure on all fronts and the resultant disenchantment and disappointment amongst the general masses of the state. He said that NC-Congress coalition was on life saving ventilators and could collapse any moment. Jamwal said that the inter party and intra party rumblings within the coalition would prove fatal for the ruling alliance in the days to come. He alleged that the prevailing chaos, red tapeism, mis-governance, corruption, lack of accountability and fractured work culture had adversely affected the functioning of the govt. with its credibility being at the lowest ebb. He said that the development works had come to a grinding halt, planned funds were being siphoned off by the corrupt elements and the govt. had utterly failed to prove its existence. He said that the only signs of life were frequent press statements issued in the media by Ministers without even bothering to ensure any follow up action on their announcements. |
