| Mysterious murder case worked out, one held | | |

Jammu/Ramban, Feb 8: Displaying high professionalism, a team of Ramban Police today claimed to have worked out a blind murder of one Gian Singh of Bhata Telimagra Ramban with the arrest of main accused.
The accused has been identified as Nazir Ahmed S/o Salam Din R/o Silla Seri, Ramban is arrested for his alleged involvement in killing of Gian Singh s/o Ishar Dass r/o Bhata Telimagra Ramban.
As per police case on December 27th last year a body identified namely of one Gian Singh S/o Ishar Dass R/o Bhata Telimagra, Ramban was recovered from a Nallah near Silla village with multiple injuries and inquest proceedings U/S 174 Cr.PC was initiated as some foul play was suspected from the spot. SP Ramban Anil Magotra constituted a special team of some police officers and which during investigations found that on the fateful day the deceased was carrying cash of Rs. 8,000/- and had boarded a vehicle from Ramban to Telimagra from where he had to proceed on foot to his native village. The accused who is resident of the same area was on the same vehicle the duo i.e. deceased and accused boarded off the vehicle and stated on foot journey.
Since the accused was aware about the cash with the deceased who followed and killed him mercilessly and took away the cash from the dead body and threw the dead body in a Nallah to make it a natural fall. After establishing the facts case FIR No. 10/2013, U/S 302 RPC was registered at Police Station Ramban and the accused was arrested who during questioning he confessed his crime. |
