| Soz, Jugal Kishore deny report of any third front in Congress | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 21: Jammu and Kashmir Pardesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) president Saif-ud-din Soz and Member of Legislative Assembly Jugal Kishore have denied the news item circulated by Current News Service (CNS) titled "Some Cong leaders now talk of third front". According to two separate press statements issued by JKPCC president Saif-ud-din Soz and MLC Jugal Kishore Sharma, duo have totally denied any such development in the party. According to statement issued by Saif-ud-din Soz, he has said that he was astonished to read his name in the news because neither he had attended any meeting of such sort nor he was aware of any third front. "The news item has tarnished my image in the party and has put a question mark on my loyalty towards the party" he said. Soz further said that he had telephonically talked to Jugal Kishor Shrama, MLC, who has also showed his ignorance of any such meeting held yesterday. According to press statement of Jugal Kishore Sharma, he has strongly reacted to news item and termed the story as completely baseless, concocted and beyond facts, which was an attempt to tarnish his public image. "The report of "Third Front" within in Pradesh Congress is beyond my knowledge and I strongly deny that I am part of such a move" he said, adding that the news story was just a figment of imagination of some unscrupulous elements to bring bad repute to the party. |
