| AJKAC appreciates Health Minister's initiative | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 21: All Jammu and Kashmir India Ayurvedic Congress (AJKAC) have appreciated the initiatives taken by Health Minister Shabir Ahmed Khan for making Ayush department more purposeful. According to press release, appreciating the initiative, the AJKAC members said that the announcement of sanction for new 5 ISM (India System of Medicine) Hospitals and 30 Dispensaries in the state at the cost of Rs. 101 Crore, would go long way to establish proper infrastructure of the Ayush department for delivering health care particularly in rural areas. They also hailed the decision of regularization of nearly 140 Adhoc/contractual/consolidate ISM Doctors under, along with subsequent relaxation in upper 8-9 years with uncertain future. AJKAC impresses upon authorities to do away with the policy of internal arrangement basis and get proper staff sanctioned for not only Ayush units in Allopathic Hospital, regimental thereby units like Panchkarma and Kashr-sutra. But also for newly opened nearly 90 Ayush Dispensaries and newly created district.
