SRINAGAR, Feb 21: Divisional Commissioner, Kashmir has issued an avalanche warning from February 21 to 24, 2013 in view of expected moderate to heavy snowfall in snow bound areas of Kashmir Valley which include Kupwara, Baramulla and Anantnag districts.
People living in these areas have been advised not to venture into steep avalanche-prone slopes during the said period and frequently remove snow from roof tops of their houses to avoid any causality due to house collapse. |
