| Residents of Nagari Parole lambasts BRO | | | Early Times Report
Kathua, Feb 24: The residents of Nagari Parole have lambasted Border Road Organization (BRO) over delaying in the construction of the road. Addressing a press conference, here today senior leader Dr. Madhu Sudhan, Tarsem Saini, and EX-councilor Gagan Singh have criticized government for not paying heed over the plights of locals. They said that due to delay in the developments are the residents are being deprived with each passing day. They also criticized health ministry for not providing the infrastructure to the Sub- District Hospital Nagari which was upgraded from PHC recently and lying without proper availability of the required medical faculty and let the people to remain suffer at large. They said that Nagri road has been lying in dilapidated condition for last more than five years and the ongoing construction of culverts on this road which was carried by the BRO were of low standard. "We have raised question over the malpractice is being done by BRO, But no action has been taken in this direction so far, other side the more than 50000 population of the Nagri and its nearby areas are facing the serious problems due the lack of health facilities" they added. They further said, "The hospital only upgraded as sub district hospital from PHC in paper but practically it is only an eye wash and lying without a proper numbers of doctors and staff in the hospital." |
