| SPO caught red handed while carrying out theft inside mosque | | |
KISHTWAR: Special Police Officer (SPO) caught was red handed by the people at Semna Colony, Kishtwar after he carried out a theft in a local mosque. According to police, SPO Bagh Hussain of Sarthal Kishtwar was caught red handed by the people after he was trying to decamp with cash chest of Masjid Sharif Osmania. As soon as the people gathered inside the mosque did not find the chest inside the sanctum sanctorum started to look out for the same and during searches recovered the stolen chest from accused SPO's possession.
The people immediately caught hold of the accused SPO and later informed Kishtwar police who registered a case under relevant sections of law at Police Station Kishtwar.
Senior police officers while assuring strict action against the erring SPO under law beside his termination from the services said that a thorough investigation has been initiated. |
