Jammu, Mar 5 : Regional Red Cross Society, Jammu under the Chairmanship of Pardeep Gupta, Divisonal Commissioner, Jammu distributed various relief items under the supervision of Anil K Padha, Secretary, PRCS, Jammu. According to press release, ten tents were distributed among the, residents of Penchari of District Udhampur, who have been displaced because of the land slides. The other relief material was supplied to the inhabitants of village Rattan kandhari of district Kishtwar which included 60 Blankets 25 Kitchen Sets 100 Folding Mattresses 100 warmer clothes. Cash assistance was also provided 7 patients to the tune of Rs. 41,843 (Rupees forty one thousand eight hundred forty three) only, a cash prize of Rs. 21,000 was also handed over to Ghari Lal son of Chuni Lal resident of Mohalla Rathua Gho Manhasan, Jammu on account of being recipient of 3rd Prize winner of red Cross Raffle Draw. |
