Jammu, Mar 5: Terming Congress an ally of the party responsible for killing of two IRP men in Handwara, Bhartiya Janta Party State Vice President Advocate Vidodh Gupta has said that Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and Congress should clear their position against their pro-separatist attitude.
The party also demanded an apology from CM for using "Sahab " respectful word for Afzal Guru in the house of people which speaks itself about the double game being played by the CM.
Addressing a press conference in Rajouri Gupta condemned the killing of 2 IRP men at Handwara and held Chief Minister and Congress directly responsible for the killings. He said that the state government firstly approached Army and CRPF to come without weapon to fight against terrorism and "after they refuse, government make IRP men scapegoat and disarm them and forced to go and get killed from the terrorist."
"This is unfortunate on part of the NC and Congress government in the state and the decision of disarming is the main reason of killing of these 2 IRP men at Handwara," Gupta said.
Terming Chief Minister pro-separatist, Gupta said that Omar backed by Congress also speak two languages. He said that his ally at Centre hanged Afzal because the same was terrorist and was guilty of Parliament attack "but Omar is giving respect t
o a terrorist in the assembly." He said that he used the word Afzal Guru Sahab in the house of people and his partner minister of Congress remained silent and endorsed the respect of CM for terrorist which shows that Congress is also playing double game with the people of India.
He said that Chief Minister should get the word expunged from the Assembly and should apology for using respectful words to Guru.
